And a very Merry to you!

Now this is a weird sight. Christmas morning and Lukas is up waiting for Alex who wants to sleep. Maybe we should send Alex to the late mass with Grandma more often!

Santa came!
A Tony Hawk Skateboard for Lukas!
The letter from Santa in response to his little note.
Helping Daddy open the presents they made him
Blue playing with his present from his Auntie's
I got it!
This was the coolest thing ever! Alexis family came over to celebrate Christmas with us as they do normally late Christmas morning. Their present to the boys was a balloon with a ball of streamer attached. Wrapped up in the streamer was money, tiny toys and a ton of fun! Their gift was to use on a trip to the Lego store next week!

This just breaks my heart! I found it in his stocking.

Cookie Day

Our traditional bake cookies with Mamo day was fast approaching! The date was set, Auntie Valerie was coming into town, the recipes were picked and sprinkles were set and then... it snowed a foot in 6 hours. Oh dear! It was an adventure getting over the river and through the woods to Mamo's house but thanks to Grandpa and his 4-wheel drive we made it just in time!

The view from inside Mamo's wreath out to the crazy stormThere is a John Deere out there somewhere!
Waiting out the storm
The boys went outside to get some energy out while the cookies were baking. Their "babysitter" Keiko went with them since she thinks they are her puppies. She was not so thrilled with her puppies flying down a mountain. She would run up the hill with them, then down along side them and then stop them with her body before they got to the bottom. Hilarious!

As always in Colorado, the sun came shining through before the end of the day!
Aren't they pretty!?
Remember Auntie Valerie's Mickey hat? Alex just had to wear it for a while.

The festival of lights

Our traditional night of Hanukkah with the Iten family is so much fun and we look forward to it every year. I did not take as many pictures as usual because I wanted to just enjoy the kids but they had a blast!

Lukas reading to Annabelle
Alex reading to Mady

Mady was on her tippy-toes trying to see the doughnut menorah
Happy Hanukkah!
Kid friendly menorah
Presents were a huge hit!
Alex showing the girls his Tap Zoo

Don't worry, Mady got her doughnut!

Yeah Veri!

I am so proud of my little sister! To celebrate her 2 year anniversary of being healthy she did both the "Be The Match" walk and the "Light the Night" walk. Both amazing organizations that are dedicated to saving lives and stopping Leukemia from taking another loved one. What an amazing woman to give back to celebrate her life! I am so blessed to have her as my sister and my friend! Are you a registered donor?
