Our first veggie harvest!

Our first veggie harvest was so much fun! I usually have a black thumb despite my attempts to have a green one so, when my friends told me that squash and green beans would go crazy in Colorado I still planted the whole pack of seeds. I honestly thought that if I killed half of them we would still have something to show for all of our hard work. As you can see my first lesson is that I have to pay better attention to the zucchini's. That is one that Lukas is holding! We have green beans, summer squash and a ton of zucchini. I am not very good at tomatoes yet but we have a few. The boys are standing in front of our crazy veggie garden and I don't take credit, it is probably all of the rain!

Take me out to the ballgame, but leave the gluten at home: Coors Field offers gluten-free food.

Hot dog! Coors Field offers gluten-free food

DENVER — Buy me some peanuts and gluten-free hot dogs? Yes, at Coors Field in Denver.

Food vendor Aramark said Thursday it is opening a gluten-free concession stand at the home of the Colorado Rockies. Aramark says it’s believed to be the first such stand in the major leagues.

Gluten is a protein particle in wheat, barley, rye and their derivatives. It can trigger reactions in people with celiac disease.

In addition to hot dogs, the new stand’s gluten-free offerings include burgers, chicken sandwiches, brownies and, yes, beer.

YEAH!!!! Season Tickets for us please! If anyone finds out when it is opening let me know, please! The things you find on Google are amazing! We completely stumbled onto this article that posted 7 hours ago. We were looking for the "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" song so the boys would know it when they go to the Rockies game in a couple of weeks with Pappy and Wilson.

Another baseball Saturday

1st baseman, he has this concept of making plays down pat, if only he could catch, oh well, next year for sure!

Good follow thru, that was is out of here!
He knocked it out of the field with this stance.
Our cousin Christopher came with us to the game today and he was a angel. So much fun and just too cute! I think I got more pictures of him than the boys this time!
He's got an arm already!
Learning colors with Wilson
I actually told Amber that Alex does not usually play with babies, that is Lukas' territory, boy was I wrong! He had so much fun entertaining Christopher with peek-a-boo and a "juggling" routine. It was very sweet!

Looking sleepy, wearing Alex's hat.
Nothing is better than a baby's giggle.

Happy Birthday 81st Grandmommy!

Mom and Grandmommy
Alex with Nene and their penguin art
Alex and Matt, such a good sport
Katie and Lukas
Matt and Shanna
Stacia and Uncle Mark
A lot of our family was going to be out of town for Grandmommy's birthday so we met at Ted's and had a family party. I put together a digital frame of everyone's pictures so Grandmommy could have all of "her babies" in one frame. I think I out did myself though, she is starting out with 450 pictures but really there are over 30 of us now so the math is not too crazy! Yes Katie of course, baby Tyler and all of our Texas family made the frame too!
Happy Birthday Firecracker!

MS Bike 2009

I am very proud of how well this event turned out. Sam's Club was the presenting sponsor for the MS Bike 2009. It was months of planning and a very very long day but such a sense of accomplishment at the end! Here are some of my favorite pictures of the day.
