San Diego Zoo, Sea Port Village and Old Town Day!
On our 3rd day we went to the San Diego Zoo. Our zoo in Denver is truly amazing and the boys love it so our main focus here was to see things that we could not see at home. The Pandas and Koalas being the top two of course! Lukas loved the koalas just like his Auntie Veri and Alex loved all of the plants and the skyride! The pandas are actually hard to see. The two adults were actually up and doing things and the baby was asleep in the tree but the zoo personnel move you along in a line and it is pretty quick. I think next time the boys see them they will appreciate them a bit more.

After the zoo we had a little bit of time before we were going to meet Veri for dinner so we went to Sea Port Village to look at the view and so I could get a Christmas ornament for a momento. The view of the bridge was beautiful and the boys loved seeing all of the boats coming into port.
Finally fabulous Mexican food! If anyone is going to San Diego and to Old Town, there are a lot of dinner choices but I strongly recommend Cafe Coyote! Amazing food, mango margaritas and friendly people. We sat just inside but by the open door so we could still hear the busy street and watch the ladies make the homemade tortillas. Yummy!
