Our 2nd day in San Diego we went to Sea World to let the boys see all of the sealife that we don't usually get to visit in the Mile High City. Wow, has Sea World changed in the last 25 years! They had so many activities and shows, Bay of Play is the Sesame Street world for kids to play in. The boys were so excited to share the day with Auntie Veri and Brent. First stop was to feed the dolphins! The boys got to feed them fish and pet them. They were so close! Lukas' dolphin either wanted to play or was upset when he ran out of fish because he sent a wave of water over Lukas with his back tail. Lukas was a little fishy the rest of the day and we decided to move on. After a visit with the rays it was off to the Shamu show. The boys loved it and were amazed the whole time. Tidepools, Sea Turtles and then off to the Bay of Play to fly in an Elmo fish and dance in sea star fountains. Sharks, Manatees (Wilson and my personal favorites), Polar Bears, Walrus', Belugas and then to the main event, Lukas the penguin in the penguin house! I remember this place as a little girl and just being amazed by how many pengins! This year the building celebrated its 25th Anniversary. Wow, things to come full circle!
