On the list for summer fun was more time at Mamo's pond. The sad event of Valerie's dog Shane passing away brought us out to Mamo's house. Shane (named after mom's dog when she was a child) was an amazing dog and lived to be almost 15 years old. We decided a family dinner would be the best way to pay tribute to such a wonderful part of our family.

Don't worry, Keiko has been trained to be super gentle with the boys. I think she thinks they are her puppies. She herds them and keeps them from harm. Keiko and Ruby were very sad all day so the boys made sure to give them lots of attention.
