For the boys fall break my Dad aka "Pop" brought us out to California for the week. We had a lot of activities planned and the first stop straight from the airport was the SD Zoo!
The koalas are one of our favorites and one of the only animals that we don't have at the Denver Zoo!
Lukas fell in LOVE with these "big leaves" all over SD. I think he is finally starting to see the big difference between Cali and Colorado!

We hiked up to the top of the zoo and found Alex's love, the polar bears.
I think he would have climbed in there with them if he could.
Alex also found a plant life he was crazy about in California. The birds of paradise made him laugh and everytime he saw one he had to let me know. If you have ever been to SD then you know, he was telling me about these strange flowers every 2 minutes!
